McFLY ahem .. sex tips? |
| from: md @ 30 Dec 2008 0 comments |
Err .. weird article this one. But, for those who are curious ..
McFly are writing a book of sex tips.
Dougie Poynter, who plays bass guitar for the British band, admits the group are becoming so well known for their sexual prowess that they are now keen to put their advice on paper - but admits it won't be out for a while.
He said: "We are writing a book of sex tips. It's going to be pretty epic, but we aren't releasing it until 2060 when all our wives are dead."
However, the book is unlikely to feature tips from singer-and-guitarist Danny Jones, who has explained how he once cancelled a date.
He said: "I went on this terrible blind date once. I arranged to meet her but got to just round the corner, had a look and ran away. I didn't text her to tell her I wasn't coming either. She just looked dodgy."

Summer tickets for McFLY's Dalby gig is already selling rapidly! It's not even January yet! Get them while the gettin's good.
THE credit crunch may be starting to bite - but it’s not stopping music-lovers digging into their wallets.
Tickets for an open-air gig by McFly next summer are already breaking box office records.
The band are performing in Dalby Forest, on the North York Moors near Pickering, on June 26 next year.
And the Forestry Commission, who have organised the concert, have revealed that almost 2,000 tickets were sold in the first seven days of sales, boding well for a sell-out 5,000 crowd.
Local organiser Paul Cody said: "Ticket sales have been rapid, matched only by the demand for the Beautiful South a couple of years ago.
"That’s hugely encouraging, promising not only a fantastic night’s music, but a windfall for all the environmental projects supported by concert revenue."
Bands who have played Dalby in recent years include Status Quo, Embrace, Paul Weller, Madness and Travis. McFly opted to play the venue after receiving wild acclaim for a one-off gig in Thetford Forest, East Anglia, last year.
Tickets priced £26.50 (subject to booking fee) are available from 01842-814612, on-line at www.forestry.gov.uk/music or from Dalby Forest visitor centre on 01751-460295 |

So, no news right now. Despite that the boys are already writting new songs and are planning to hit the recording studio later in the upcoming year, should be sick.
Anyways. The Gallery will be up shortly. Takes a lot to upload all these photos. And I'm attempting to custom make the design, so I'm slowly trying to understand how its coded.
Stay tune, folks. |

Sugababes Christmas Gift to Tom Fletcher The Sugababes (Getty)
Something you want to say, girls? The ever-tactful Sugababes bought McFly's Tom Fletcher a voice changer for Christmas.
They gave it to the singer during filming for the Nokia Green Room Christmas Special.
Nice!

New Web Layout
So, as a present and a new 2009 starter, I'm creating a new layout. It should be up by Jan. 5th, if we're lucky. The look is called, "Casual Friday" and is kind of an oxymoron to what picture I'm using. Along with the layout, I'm also adding new features throughout the site. I'll have links to interviews that you can watch/read directly on the site. In the "Interactions" section I'll have icons and other graphics you can take as you please. I'll also be posting new reviews of McFLY and ringing up some quotes and such. Should be good fun and a little useful and nicer for you guys! |

Got something to tell us boys? McFly's Dougie and Harry puckered up under the mistletoe in full view of the world and his dog.
After getting close in the Nokia Green Room, they only parted when Alesha Dixon came in and interrupted them. "The cheeky chappies were playing up for the cameras until Alesha came and made them join her on the karaoke machine," our mole tells us.
"They were belting out some Christmas classics."
Forget Mariah - looks like all Harry and Doug want for Christmas is each other.
